At TruQC, we’ll tell anyone who’ll listen about our software. But if you’re just getting started with the research phase, here’s a list of the questions we tend to get right off the bat. These may help with some of your initial inquiries, but don’t hesitate to contact us if you are looking for more information.

Q: I have several basic questions. Do you have a “yes” page?

Q: How much does TruQC cost?

Q: What are the system requirements for TruQC?

A: TruQC is now running on iOS 10. It’s generally recommended that customers use the latest version of Apple hardware for optimum performance.

Q: I downloaded and installed TruQC, but can’t log in. How do I do so?

A: You will need user credentials to login to TruQC. Someone will be in touch with you to deliver your login credentials after you’ve signed up.

Q: How can I get my specific reports into TruQC?

A: In our app we feature nine field documents:

  • Take 5 and Safety Inspection Report

If you need a report that we don’t currently offer, contact us and we can work with you to customize a report for your needs.

Q: My iPad got ran over by a truck. How do I get all my report data back?

A: All report data is cloud-based, so it doesn’t matter if your iPad is lost, stolen or damaged. Your information is available at all times in the cloud and can be retrieved via login on any other iPad.

Q: How do I download the app?

A: You can search for TruQC in the iPad App Store or simply click here.

Q: Do you have a case study of a current client’s experience with TruQC? What’s the ROI?

A: Here are some case studies that you might find interesting.

Q: Do TruQC’s reports comply with SSPC QP1, QP2 and QS1 standards?

A: Yes, they sure do. Functionality includes QC signature on all documents. PDFs are available for auditors and documentation is chain verifiable.

Q: Is TruQC cloud-based?

A: Yes. All reports are stored in the cloud, so they’re available whenever they’re needed.

Q: Does TruQC have device integration?

A: Yes! TruQC works with the PosiTector and Elcometer. Readings are reported directly into your inspection form. Device data, model and serial number are auto-filled for your convenience.

Q: Is my data secure with TruQC?

A: We take a full snapshot of your data every hour, every day, every week, and every month. The data is encrypted when it goes across the wire using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption which is standard across the web. Passwords are hashed in the database using a Secure Hash Algorithm designed by the National Security Agency (NSA). We also use an industry leader to host TruQC’s data – Amazon Web Services (AWS). Q: Can you export the reports to Box and Dropbox?

A: Yes! Just download Box or Dropbox to your iPad.

Q: Can you store SDS, PDS, Blueprints, Scope of Work, Employee Certifications, Toolbox Talks and other documents in TruQC?

A: Yes. You can do this with The TruQC Document Library. This feature allows you to go into a field user’s “library” and add or remove PDF documents as you see fit.
If the scope of work changes, you can remove the old one and upload the most current version at any time. No need to call the foreman, as the next time he opens the app, it will only include the documents you allow.

Q: Can you control who sees what data in TruQC?

A: The software is permission-based, meaning only those assigned to a job have access to that job. There is no way for an unrelated person to access or manipulate data.

Q: Does TruQC sync reports?

A: All of our forms sync in near real time. This means that if you are the QSM (Quality Systems Manager) and you have inspectors working in numerous states or countries, you can look in on any given inspector, at any given time, and see exactly where they are in the inspection process and what readings they’re getting.

Q: What if I am in a place where there is no Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection? Will the reports I fill out store locally on the iPad?

A: Yes! If an inspector is in an area where no Wi-Fi or 3G/4G coverage exists, the information stores locally and automatically syncs once a signal becomes available. All report data is stored in the cloud.

Q: Can you email or print the reports from the iPad?

A: Yes! All reports can be displayed on the iPad for review or can be converted to a PDF available for immediate print or email from the device. Only reports that have been approved may be printed or emailed.

Q: How are the reports objective?

A: All reports are time-, date-, GPS-, signature- and photo-stamped.

Q: Can I run metrics and analytics on the data?

A: Absolutely! We can help you analyze and run metrics on all data to improve your process.
