So, you’re on the job-site and TruQC and/or your iPad is acting a little wonky. Don’t fret. It happens. Why? Well, could be a variety of reasons – software updates, app updates, an iPad bad hair day…who knows? What’s important is that your industrial painting project won’t be delayed, as your iPad fix is a quick and easy “hard reset” away.
Here’s what you do if your iPad is giving you fits, keeping you from your daily documentation of quality control and quality assurance: Simply press and hold the Sleep/Wake button (it’s on the top of your iPad) and the Home Button (it’s the only button the face of your iPad – the concave one at the bottom of your screen) at the same time until the Apple logo appears.
From there, you should be good to go. If not, it might be time to contact a Mac expert. We’ve always had great experiences dealing with the Geniuses at the actual Apple Retail Stores. There are also many certified Apple retailers and repair shops all over the country as well. And from our experience, they all do great work too. No matter your path, the beauty of the Mac platform is its simplicity.
You’ll be up and running in no time – if you were even really ever “down” in the first place.
