The iPad does a pretty nice job of adjusting the brightness as you move between lighter and darker rooms, but no system is perfect and lighting on a job-site can change pretty quickly. For the times when you’ve got a different idea of how bright your screen needs to be, there’s an easy way to adjust it yourself.
To access the brightness settings, double-tap the Home button and swipe right. When you see the brightness indicator, move the slider to the brightness level you prefer.
Whether it’s brighter or darker, controlling the brightness is a simple change. In the Settings menu, you can also set your brightness preferences and toggle auto-brightness on or off to limit frustration.
As the job-site rarely comes with optimal reading light, it’s good to know how to make adjustments yourself. For more iPad know-how, click here.
