Your iPad can be a key player in helping your job-site run smoothly. But sometimes, a finicky app can cause the performance of your device to suffer. We’ve already gone over how to close an app on your iPad, but sometimes that’s not enough. It might be best to remove the troublesome app and reinstall it again later.
To remove the problematic app, touch and hold its icon on the Home screen until the icon starts to jiggle. Next, tap the “x” in the upper-right corner of the app you want to remove. Some apps will prompt you to rate the app – we’ll leave that decision up to you. To continue removing the app and all of its data from your iPad, simply tap Delete. Once you’re done deleting an app, click the Home button.
If you’d like to give the app a second chance, you can reinstall it. Often, when closing and restarting an app doesn’t fix the problem, deleting and reinstalling it will fix performance issues.
