TruQC takes the effort out of sharing vital job info, but there may come a time when you’ll need to take and share a screenshot. A screenshot is a picture of exactly what you see on your screen – even the top-row items like battery life and network status. It’s perfect for sharing a problem you’ve encountered… or proving your high score on Angry Birds. Luckily, the iPad makes it a snap.
To take a screenshot, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. You’ll see the screen flash and hear a camera shutter. After that, you can continue working as usual. If you need to view or share your screenshots, that’s easy too.
To find your screenshots, tap on the Photos icon and check out the Camera Roll album. Here, you can view and share screenshots.
Note: Taking screenshots works the same in both portrait and landscape mode.
