We’re pleased to announce that Benjamin Chute, CTO at TruQC, has been selected to join a panel of judges to determine the winner of the 2013 Tabby Awards /Business.
The competition is the only worldwide contest for Apple, Android and Microsoft platforms aimed at recognizing exceptional mobile productivity apps, as submitted by developers, publishers and organizations that have sponsored an app for a tablet.
Mr. Chute will join chairman of the panel Milind Gadeker, co-founder and CEO of the Palo Alto-based CloudON, and other mobile technology specialists to determine the recipient of the award. According to The Tabby Awards, its judges were chosen for expertise in the mobile productivity industry.
“It’s an honor being appointed to the Tabby panel,” Mr. Chute said of the announcement. “There’s a growing segment of business leaders who realize tablets are the new engines of workplace productivity and efficiency, and this award is meant to recognize those leaders.”
Entries for business-related apps are divided into 19 categories and will be accepted until August 30. Judging will take place between September and October, with finalists announced at the TabletBiz conference and expo in New York City on November 13.
TruQC was itself selected as a finalist from nearly 100 entries in the Tabby Awards /Business last year.
